Dr. M. A. Malik, Ph.D(OSM)
Deccan Group of Institutions.
The era of the success of Deccan College of Engineering and Technology started way back in 1984 when it was established by Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust under the leadership of SALAR-E-MILLAT Janab SULTAN SALAHUDDIN OWAISI SAHAB (R.A.) the then Chairman of the Trust. Over these years of a three-decade-plus, Deccan College of Engineering and Technology has added many more feathers to its success story. Under the present dynamic Chairmanship of JANAB BARRISTER ASDAUDDIN OWAISI SAHAB and the guidance of JANAB AKBARUDDIN OWAISI SAHAB, DCET takes pride in offering a wide range of quality programs which nurture graduates who are critical thinkers, effective communicators, innovative problem solvers, lifelong learners and ethical leaders, which are far more important than the academic knowledge. I personally thank the Chairmen and Board of Directors that strongly believes in continuous improvement in the delivery of technical education.
Deccan College of Engineering and Technology (DCET), an institution with the vision to excel in professional education, and partnership for the betterment of the nation, and the world, and our motto “To learn and to apply, for the benefit of mankind”.
The University curriculum is well supported by a team of eminent faculties along with industrial tours, seminars, and conferences. The in-house training and placement cell facilitates the students in their Projects, Dissertations and Campus selection by corporate industries. We all at Deccan College of Engineering and Technology believe in one goal and that is to produce the best Engineering Graduates with international standards to revolutionize the corporate industry in India and abroad.
The students passing out of our portals have distinguished themselves as industrialists, entrepreneurs, innovators, educationists, heads of prestigious organizations, practicing engineers; DCET has strong regional and global connections. We are weaving a growing and increasingly effective global network which further facilitates our institutions, as well as enhancing our academic and cultural exchanges.
I often encourage our students to become “practical dreamers”, focusing on reality but looking beyond it. In a way, we at DCET strive to turn our vision of education into reality.
